9600gt sli help

Ive got the gigabyte 650i board and it had no problems clocking a quad to 3.4Ghz, its probably the best of the 650i boards out there :)

well i already have the coolermaster psu i have had it for a while it was a lot cheaper when i bought it thats why i didnt get the corsair, i just was thinking of upgrading to sli or crossfire soon and wanted to know if the psu could handle it, so thanks for the replies

The gigabyte N650i is probably the only 6 series board 680 or 650 thats worth having... I have one in my other PC and it clocks very very nicely once you add some active cooling to the NB.

Being only x8 PCI-e in SLI mode doesn't seem to slow it down one little bit.

The only downsides is future 45nm CPU support wasn't confirmed either way last time I checked and to get SLI mode you need to move a lot of jumpers on the board - no flip card or BIOS option :(
