'97 BMW 316i Compact wiper problem

hi fellas,

jsut baught a 316i compact, and all of a sudden the window wipers have stopped working, front and rear, the squirters dont work either!

im thinking this could be a fuse but i havnt a clue were the fuse box is!! this is my first car btw, have worked on bikes before so have a fiar idea on what im doing.

btw these were defentetly working when i baught the car because as i couldnt work out how to turn the buggers off

any help guys?

Fuses are usually somewhere in the glovebox compartment.

rear wiper right hand stalk dad once to turn on dab again to turn off

front wipers only work cont. if you are moving

take it to a bmw dealer, you will need them for service

e36, im guessing the fuse box will be under the bonnet like on mine, your user manual should tell you where it is and tell you which fuse is which :]

Yep, like Morba says look under the bonnet passenger side near the bulkhead...

Could be the wiper control module

its behind the glove box.
