Hi Guys,

The HOF edition Galax 970/980's look the part, i'm assuming they should overclock pretty well compared to most of the other aftermarket cards too from reading about the revised PCB & cooler?

Any idea on release date? :p

Anybody know of any links to benchmarks, overclocking results etc?

Yes stock will leave China this week, ETA with us end of next week fingers crossed.

They are designed for overclocking so will be very good at it.

Chances of you bringing a few to i53 to look at?

Also would love to see hands on the whole VRAM issue is handled, with these 'only' having 4GB and me using 3 screen (6040x1200) in a few demanding (unoptimized?) games..

My 680 2gb isn't coping any more rendering the 2 screens useless in most things. :(

Don't wan't to invest in something that won't cope with next year's games

Will you be having a play with them Gibbo?

Yes and no doubt 8 Pack too as these are designed for LN2 as well. :)

Also it is confirmed the backplate is brushed silver, the youtube video floating around with a black backplate is an ES sample.

We have also requested Galaxy make us gloss white and brushed black backplates for these cards for those who really wish to customise their HOF card. :)

If they make them we shall list them separately to buy as an extra. :)

Gibbo - I really want to get one of these and put a decent overclock on it, seeing as my gtx 580 will only stay stable with about a 5% OC. Seeing as they clock so high, is there any kind of guarantee that these cards won't just go pop?

Stock voltage, aim for 1500/8000 24/7 clock, would have no effect in lifespan. MSI 980/970 are clocking well and to such levels already.

You cannot run any card at maximum OC for normal use, because yes it will go pop.
