So, I had decided on putting the OCUK 970 reference card in a BitFenix Phenom.
But I've since changed my mind and want to go for a Corsair Carbide Air 240 which should have more space, and, importantly (to me) a window.
I have since seen this: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-259-EA&groupid=701&catid=1914&subcat=1010
It's the same price, but has a large overclock on it, stock.
The problem is; its not a blower design.
Questions:
1. Will I suffer on temperatures with the EVGA in a 240 Air, and how will it compare to the OCUK reference?
2. Will I be able to overclock the reference card to the same overclock as the EVGA is stock?
I will be getting an x99 micro board and a top rated power supply to suit.
Thanks.
