Hi everybody , I bought a EVGA GeForce GTX 970 SC ACX 2.0 4096MB from overclockers about 3 weeks ago but i have been having problems with it with unplayable frame dropping and stuttering no matter what game i play. The card will be getting good frames then drop to 10 frames or below and freeze / stutter every 10/15 seconds. I only play at 1080p and i was using a 7950 3gb before i bought the 970 i have the exact same in game settings as i was using for that card and seem to be getting worse performance and the unbearable stuttering with the 970.
I have tried lowering the in game settings even more than the 7950 was playing at and also messing around with the settings in nvidea control panel these were suggested from google searches. I have gpuz which shows temps being good 60's when playing. The gpu load is stuck on 1% and 2% and doesn't seem to go up while playing ?
Just wondering if i should be sending the card back to EVGA or maybe somebody has had a similar issue with these cards.
Cpu temps are good and i used ddu as normal for drivers . Thanks for help
