hey guys, would really appreciate anything you could throw at me, heres my specs:

i5 4670k OC'd to 4.4 GHz
8 GB RAM (2133MHz)
2 Gigabyte GTX 970 G1 Gaming in SLi

basically, iv tested each card by itself and the max stable overclock on the lower performing card is: no voltage adjustment, power limit set to 106%, +80 to Core and +200 Memory, highest temp 74C after about 20-25 mins.

i then enabled SLi, have latest driver - 368.39, and OC to the above settings, launch doom which crashes, varying from anywhere between 1-2mins to 5mins, takes me back to windows saying driver stopped responding and has recovered. In witcher3, session can last longer although i get small red spot type artifacts and eventually it crashes. Playing on stock no problems btw, no crashes or artifacts. Max temp with sli is 80C.

Im sure you would agree with me that my OC settings are low, surely i cant be that unlucky with my card?

are there any settings in wondows/bios which i should check or anything else, please advise.

From memory, the overclocks when I ran 2x G1 970s were +125 core & +200 memory for 24/7 usage.
No additional volts were required, power limit was set at 110% temps maxed out around 70c.

What boost speeds does +80 give you? For SLI I tend to run 1450MHz max.

Have you tried without increasing the memory clocks?
