970 vs 380X PhysX

If buying now id probably go for the 390. Particularly at 1080p. As new games are using more vram the 8gb will help. For 1440p i wouldnt really reccomend either. The 390 will be ok on the ram front, but neither will have the grunt to run things at higher levels.

Using a 290@ 1440p 4gb and yet to go over 4gb in the games I have played so far.
Has for Physx if it's GPU based like borderlands you better stick with Nvidia..
They was a hack you could do with borderlands 1 and force physx onto the cpu the game run around 30fps for me on a 7950 and I5 2500k it was playable just not has playable old nvidia GPU at that time.

If it's cpu Physx then we all can enjoy that I have couple games that use it. Squad being the latest.

I interact here don't I?:p

No, you are seeing what you want and claiming a YouTube video as evidence. All of my vids are the same but if you felt this way, why on earth did you go from a 290 to a 970 lol

Anyways, Nuff said.

Went Nvidia because of GW's, don't know how you missed that.:p

Saying your youtube vid shows the leash but it's cool if you don't agree with it.

I'll do one of those awkward questions though and say go and run SOM with ingame settings above 4GB@1080p on your 970 and come back and show us your max vram usage.:p

Lucky bag strike-you know it:p

I get the odd up to 4055MB moments but predominately [email protected]~Gb, BM def doesn't go over 3.8GB here, nearly every other title runs ~3.59Gb.

Maybe it's a driver problem but I thought Nvidia didn't have any.:D
