I dont know why any 780 owner would get a 970 regardless, its almost a sideways 'upgrade'. The 980 is the one to go for from a 780.
I went from a single 780ti to two 970s

I think we need to give MSI and Gigabyte the chance to give a definitive answer.
The important thing they need to know is, their answer just doesn't colour peoples future view of graphics cards from them, but purchases of ANYTHING made by them.
Even though they haven't said one way or another, the fact they are taking so long to announce is putting me of using them in the future tbh.
Reluctantly sent my two 970's back (£27 signed for and insured via royal mail eek). Soon as refund I'll be buying my card/s from overclockers. Shame they can't reserve them. I love Gibbo. Excellent work OC. See you Monday.

£12 is the max acceptable postage refund we can provide.
Don't know if it counts here but, OcUK have a limit on what they will reimburse back to you.
Will the returned cards be available to buy at discount prices. I fancy a second for SLI.
That was my point. I'm sure insured post via interparcel so you can check prices will be cheaper than Royal Mail.
