970's having performance issues using 4GB Vram - Nvidia investigating

I have had enough with nvidia and forgot about me going Amd ...that's it i am going MATROX

This is my problem, yes I'm annoyed by what Nvidia have done with the 970's, but it's no worse then anything AMD have done to me previously, should I switch to Intel or give Nvidia an equal chance when choosing my next GPU

I'm a casual gamer, never noticed any issues with my 970. Bought it used, and could probably sell it for what I paid. I'm holding onto it until I see what AMD release.

I kept my 970 and just got a 144hz 1080p monitor.

If this is what feeling like a mug is like... A mug I am! :)

No

The 970 is still a great card and i stand by it however i do not stand by nvidia tactics.... believe me if there was another option i would take it...

we need a third player in this game ....

lets all chip in & kickstart and bring matrox to the table at least we know now nvidia had a couple of cards under there sleeve so we better keep an eye on that player.

Nobody has said you can't post, however there's no need to go Boomstick and post the same old **** everytime. I mean, well done you've sidegraded to an 290X, grats. You're in the minority, most people have kept their 970s or upgraded to a 980, people who decided not to follow you aren't mugs or whatever tripe you post.

I don't care if i'm a mug in someones eyes for keeping my 970. Fact is, it's the fastest card for the price at my res. Only alternative was stepping up to a 980 which I felt was pointless. This thread should be chopped tbh.
