I guess it can take time - my package was signed for on Monday but I didn't get an email confirmation to say they received it until yesterday, I just chalked it up to them being busy and tried not to think about it ;).

Ah so that took three days, no worries then :)

Cheers Monkeh

So are all of these returned 970s going to turn up as cheap b-grade stock any time soon? :D

I think it will only be OCUK's own brand cards and the manufactures that are not supporting OCUK in returning the cards.

is it still only gigabyte that are not supporting OCUK in the cards being returned

Gibbo said B grade 970's won't be below £200 for a while.

Is this really a legitimate statement? When you say B Grade what do mean? The resale of replaced stock at a discounted price?

As far as I'm aware NVidia have no plans to revise the card to a 4GB VRam proper because its all about the architecture of the card, surely?

Sounds like I'm accosting you, I'm really not, just trying to suss out what you mean.

Quick question.
I gotten Msi 970 for my mate and he wants me to return it and get him 980 instead.
Game code not used. Card was installed like on 3rd jan.
Got massive 0% gpu usage drops tried drivers fresh install ect.....
Hes hoping 980 wont be like that :P

B grade is the terminology OCUK use when they sell stock that isn't new, or as new (ie damaged packaging).

do a web note or do a post in the CS section and they will give you a RMA number to send it back for a refund and then can get a 980

that's if it was brought from OCUK

doesn't matter cause some people always buy.

people still forgetting that a 970 gtx is highly salable . wont drop in price for a while yet much. if at all. till newer cards are out.

funny thing is you have to wait till july for amd new stuff and then they only as fast as whats out now.
