Shouldn't be standard if all he did was ask them for their opinion on this rather then say he has a fault?

I asked the same thing today and was just told they were waiting on NVidia to give up more information, so unless he said his cards were broken I don't see why they would ask him to do a RMA.

thats interesting
i think most sellers are scared to say much publicly until nvidia react
which isnt surprising lol

Is this starting to affect anyone? I mean......psychologically?

I mean.....I sat down to play BF4 last night and just as I was booting my machine, just before I did, I looked at it.......you know.......the "you ok bro?" look.

I swear to god, the PC looks more stupid than it was the night before.

FLOL!

It is a monitor it clearly has MONITOR written on the box.

It doesn't have a tuner, that's how they keep the costs down, so it's a monitor and it's 120hz at 1080p

Old trick, but then I didn't buy it for my PC I bought it for my house.

And yes, after doing extensive research it would appear there are plenty of 4k screens out there now that fit in my budget and can do 60hz. Which changes things...

Still not decided mind.

i wouldn't get a 4K TV yet........if that's crossing your mind, they're not quite good enough, wait a few years.

i dont even think this years brand new LG OLEDs will be good enough either....whatever the case, deffo too expensive.

What in the actual **** are you talking about?

My computer normally looks at me with a deathly gaze, only when I go on these forums though :p
I use my phone more, for that reason. Feel like I'm being judged for wasting time arguing with random people on the net.

Then it's night time viewing....you don't want to know what my computer does then.

Yep, I just asked them what they're doing or planning on doing.

I didn't tell them I was sending them back although I might and see what happens :P

yes they look good, but i wouldn't trade in my Panny plasma for one yet.........i'd wait another two years.

i think the 4K LED might die a death, because i like the look of the new front mounted Laser projector tv.......... if it becomes popular that is, who knows...........shrug !

Will be interesting to see what PCper have to say in the article they are doing this evening. Hopefully it will alleviate some of the more genuine fears that people have. Of course it will do nothing to appease those who just want to argue and **** off Nvidia.

UPDATE 1/26/15 @ 12:10am ET: I now have a lot more information on the technical details of the architecture that cause this issue and more information from NVIDIA to explain it. I spoke with SVP of GPU Engineering Jonah Alben on Sunday night to really dive into the quesitons everyone had. Expect an update here on this page at 10am PT / 1pm ET or so. Bookmark and check back!

COD AW is the reason I sold my 7990 and got two 970's.
I couldn't play the game at all on the 7990. Even the cut scenes were barely watchable (stuttering and the sound was about 2 seconds out of sync).
It now plays perfectly on my 970's.

Plays perfectly maxed out on my 290 :) uses all of it's 4GB too :D
