Just built my new system, do you guys rekon this 3d mark05 score is about right ?

A little too low, if you ask me. I get about 11000 with an X2 4400+ @ 2.5ghz with an x1900xt 512mb. All your components are faster than mine, so it should definitely be higher!

I'd have said a bit low as well. Used to get about 9K on an 256MB X1800 and current cpu at stock. Went up to 12.5K when I changed to the GTS.

my score is pretty similar which shows my overclocked 3800 is as good as a stock e6600 ...I dont need to upgrade for abit

He made a typo, he meant ''a bit'' not Abit.

3d mark score score looks ok but could be better, try different drivers and tweak stuff a bit.

I also think the score is a bit low, i'm breaking 12k with my his x1900xt @ xtx, E6600 @3ghz & 2gb Gskill HZ.
Like the last poster said, do a bit of tweaking & try different drivers.

It seems low to me, with my 3700SD + X1800xt 512, i'm landing in the early 10k region :confused:

It does look kinda low to me.. With my X2 4200 and X1900XT I was getting around 12.5K. With my 6400 and X1900XT I can get 14.5k...

You sure its switching to 3D clocks? I think thats about the score mine gets on 2D clocks.

Ok one thing i did have full AA and that on, just did another test just with no eye candy scored 10,594

and i also think the OP's score is too low. i get more on my x1950pro agp / single core cpu @2.4ghz setup.

Hate to break it to you but my X1900GT and Single core [email protected] Opteron made just over 10,000 on 3dmakr05...
