980(s) Dieing?

these are reference cards in SLI

So I got a PG27AQ 4K Panel now along with my PG278Q & Dell 2913WM
So started it having the following issue in game and desktop.

Symptoms
very quick pink/green vertcal line in games & desktop once every 3 hours or so. i mean quick by like 0.5 seconds. only on the 4K panel (primary monitor)

in Witcher 3 once or twice ive had the fps drops from 55-60fps to around 5fps then the first issue happen again. checking temps im around 78c. but also had this when i was at 71c

ive also had this just using chrome on the desktop

from my testing
im only using 2.8GB vram in Witcher 3. so not hitting the vram limit, but i think i might be getting memory issue/corruption

1. ive currently swapped inputs into the card to rule out a connector on the card.

2. Will swap the cable after testing 1.

anything else worth testing?

Have you tried a new SLI bridge?

Have you tried a single card to isolate the issue?

I'd certainly try to isolate a single card, it's unlikely both are going to pot at the same time. Check all connectors, especially if you've moved it recently.

so far 0 problems just buy swapping ports.

The cable, try a different cable. With 4k resolutions the bandwidth and quality of the cables really starts to show and can result in some weird affects.

Could be something as simple as that.
