Found someone that is trying to get rid of some wearhouse stock.He offered an evga 980ti classified for 300 saying that will send it once payment is made.Quote "When you do the payment put the reference as pending472 then it will put it as a pending transfer for 7days so you can cancel if the card is not what you want".question : does it look like scam,and second:that reference is true or not.Thanks.
 
Of course it's a scam. If he was wanting to get rid of stock. He could just list it on eBay for £500 as new and sell them like that.
 
Probably the same guy off the bay I reported selling loads of 980ti's for £300. Each item showed exactly the same picture. Those got closed down as he was trying to sell them off auction.
 
Scam for sure.

I buy loads of computer parts from eBay from several sellers. I would hate to be a seller myslef though. Also have a look at people selling pre-order 1070s & 1080s lol.
 
Say you will collect it.
I got my new sealed 980Ti classified through a guy on gumtree, it was on gumtree for £330. I got him to put it on ebay and covered his fees and postage
