Hi all, just bought a evga 980 ti and the fps drops are kinda killing some games for me, note that my fps seems to be good as i have max fps of 80-110 in a lot of games but i keep getting huge fps drops and they are so noticeable its ruining the immersion of a lot of games, anyway a few games im having problems with
borderlands two, runs around 80 - 150 fps but during combat its dropping down to 30s :/ physx on high but with low still drops down but 40 instead of 30
heros of the storm again during combat will dive bomb from 70-90 fps to 30
crysis warhead i have crazy ups and downs, fps normally around 90 but it will fly up and down to 35/40 a lot, also if i turn aa max or off the fps stays the same (with the drops too)
i had a old 680 before and used ddu to get rid of old drivers (didnt do in safe mode though) and cant really compare fps since i ran a lot of games on low because i have a 144hz 1080P monitor
rest of the system is
i7 [email protected]
16gig ddr3
Samsung 500 ssd
also my firestrike score was 14k which seems about right, so are these fps drops normal? kinda disappointing if they are
any anwsers are much appreciated and sorry for long post
