980 vs 390?

Went with the 980Ti G1 Gaming, figured Gigabyte was a safe choice and was in a rush, already had the 980 G1 so just upgraded to Ti

Certainly is nice for keeping things simple, I just upgraded from a 290x to a Fury and the best thing was that it took a minute to switch the cards and then it was all up and running. No hassles with software changes is always a good thing.

I hope you enjoy the card as much as you should. I gotta say though, If as you said you only game on one screen and you already owned a 980 G1 then you had plenty of power already and didn't really need to change it.

He has 3 screens so a 980ti will be great.

I don't play maxed out, I play typically with 1 screen (1080p) and the other two screens are used for other stuff (office, web, skype, etc)

Oh, I don't have a 980.

What I meant was I placed an order late last night with OcUK, and then phoned up today to switch out the 980 for the 980Ti

I currently have a 6950 lol.
