9800 GX2 half dead?

Well, these last weeks my PC has had so many problems..

Firstly a brand new 2TB hard drive wouldn't work (got help on here, thanks!) and then my PSU fan stopped rotating (was an error on my behalf - all working well now) and now.. this:

My 9800GX2 seems to be half dead. On the device manager screen it only shows one GPU and the same with the nVidia control pannel.

I've checked the cables to make sure it's all connected soundly but other than that I've no clue what to do.

Any ideas guys?

Many thanks!

On a side note: My PC is a Q6600, 4GB DDR2, 600W OCZ PSU and an Asus P5Q-E - based on these specs what graphics card would you advise I upgrade to?

It's a clean format and I just downloaded and installed the latest drivers. When I get back from uni I'll try reinstall them.

If it's not drivers is the card just dead? Rift is coming out soon so need a working card by then :)

Is yours the dual pcb model?

If so, it could be that the second pcb needs to be replugged into the first.

Before you do anything to do with that first, check if you still have warranty left on your card.

No idea how to check if it's the dual PCB model.

There wont be any warranty left. The card was part of the machine I bought from Overclockers and so only comes with a 1 year warranty.
