9800 - When is it coming out?

I was just wondering when the 9800 comes out. Plus do you know if its coming out in different versions, low, mid and high powers?

It's been rumoured around February or March kind of timeframe. Can't say for certain, obviously. Also, the 9600 GT is supposedly coming out on the 18th of February or something similar.

Do you know how a 9600GT compares to something like the 8800GTX?

So on a scale it would be 9800 then 8800 GTX then 8800/9600?

i suppose the performance of a 9800GTX would be like 8800gtx in SLI but with 1gb of memory to utilise and a bigger memory interface. 9600gt is expected to compete with the 3850pro.

Yeah there was, but that was apparently the mobo chipsets based on R700, not the gfx cards.

That's pretty decent, more than could be said for the 8600 series. Any idea if it [9600] will have any new features such as DX10.1?

i'm just gonna sit tight on my gts until they come out. No point me buying something a little faster to play crysis. May aswell get the big speed difference (hopefully) with the 9xxx cards.
