I've just replaced by 8800 GTS 320MB with an Xpertvision 9800GT and am experiencing some issues.

Firstly GPU-Z is dispplaying conflicting info. On the main tab it is displaying the correct clock speeds 600/1500/900, but on the sensors tab the memory is only running at 500MHz. It then goes up to 900MHz when running a game.

I've tested the performance using crysis GPU benchmark which is giving me about what I would expect (19FPS min, 29 avg - 1650 x 1080, all high, no AA) but 3dmark is giving me a score of 8900. I would have expected a score of +10000 for a stock clocked 9800GT, as my old GTS was scoring 11300 (while oc'd to b*ggery).

I not worried about gaming performance, but the low 3dmark score with the memory speed issue is concerning me.

Can anyone shed any light on these?

I've also noticed that the texture fill rate is only showing 19.2 Gtexels whereas all other 9800GT's show 33.6.

Would a bios flash to a later revision sort this out?

post the gpuz screenshot, sounds like your using an old version of gpuz or something. either that or you actually have a 8600gt.

Memory clock switching from 500mhz to 900mhz is probably just 2d and 3d modes. Doesnt the core clock speed change as well?

I'm using the latest GPU-Z version 0.2.8.

Only the memory speed drops to 500MHz, the core stays at 600Mhz.

It'll have to be tonight when I can post the screenshot.
