Hi.

I'll soon be in the market for new graphics.
Almost tempted by the 4850, but read that the 9800 series will be reduced in price soon & a new model is due.

Is this right?
...and any ideas how much and when?

9800GTX - 200$, same model as always
9800GTX+ - 200$, 55nm process meaning higher clocks

Give it a week or two to se where all this leads and let the prices drop a bit, then make your decision. No matter what it's a great market right now.

Thought the 9800GTX was $229?

Anyway old GTX coming down to same price as the 4850 so you take your choices.

As said, great time for consumers.
