9800gtx question

Even though ive had one i cant remember the answer ...... do they require 1 or 2 pci-e power leads?

cheers, so maybe a few ive lookedat have been right with just one, any ideas on the zotac ones? one of the reviews here states it needs a 8 pin one?

usually 2x 6pin!! but 1x 6pin has been known to crop up with earlier models.

I was looking at a 1gb Gigabyte one and the pictures show one connector only, cant seem to find out for sure tho

Gigabyte 1Gb 9800GTX+ = 1x6pin power connector. Don't know why OCuk hav'nt got this in stock, its an excellent card.

My BFG 98000GTX+ OC takes 6 pin x2.

Makes too much noise and runs too hot for my liking; I'm considering aftermarket coolers, so any recommendations are welcome!
