9800GX2 - Too much voltage???

I am having problems with my graphics card and think its a power issue.

Can someone advise me on if this looks ok or not:

Hardware Monitoring : ITE IT8718F
Voltage CPU : 1.41 V
+3.3V Voltage : 3.33 V
+5V Voltage : 4.91 V
+12V Voltage : 13.77 V (This looks bad to me)
DIMM : 2.24 V
VBAT : 3.31 V

If there is a problem what can I do? What would I remove to compensate?

First of all, what is the graphics card problem? Second, where exactly are you getting these readings? The BIOS is virtually always wrong. Finally, I doubt it is a power issue.

I used pc wizard 08.

The problem is that I am getting crashes in games. Freezing and the screen messing up mainly in COD4 and GRID

look in the bios, see if it gives the same reading. or use EVEREST Ultimate Edition

If you have a voltmeter you should use that, the BIOS is always wrong for measurements.

my MB gives the right reading in the bios.

maybe intel MB's is difficult...

psu i guess. because it's over voltage.

but your psu as Overvoltage/Overcurrent/Short-Circuit protections..


have u tryed EVEREST Ultimate Edition?

It shows the same. But missing some bits because its trial only

Try playing those games without any overclocks (eg, all options set on auto)
If your still getting crashes then its either drivers or a hardware fault (memory etc)

Check your temperatures, this is one hot cookie.

Mine runs at ~86c under load.

I tried that and it ran at 70 degrees on full load. I have fan 100%

As said in your other thread, did it still freeze when you disabled your onboard sound then.

I replied in the other one.

Just seems to be a graphics issue with GRID now. But I am not playing any otehr games to test it out on anything else at the moment
