Can anyone tell me who has the 9800gx2 if any of the contents of the package include a 6pin to 8 pin converter.

Reason being is my ocz psu does,nt and im thinking of getting one in next couple of weeks.

Yes the BFG model does.

And u will probably have to cut off the retaining clip

Yes BFG does have 6 -> 8. I didnt have to cut it on my BFG, just pushed the clip over to the left firmly as i pushed it in.

My XFX GX2 didn't, but i have 8pin on my PSU luckily.

No problems with the emermax galaxy 1000.

Cant believe BFG are the only ones shipping with a converter.
My ocz game extreme isnt that old so i cant be the only one who has no 8 pin
