So, been offered a 980ti with a waterblock for my current build.

It's a 4770k, z87i board, 8gb of ram.

Only other thing I'll be running is a ddc pump, 4 fans and an ssd.

The psu is a Silverstone 450w gold, capable of 37a and 444w on the 12v+ rail.

Looking at reviews a lot of total system power consumptions with 4960x (130tdp iirc) and another 130 watt tdp processor ranged the total consumption from 300-350 total system consumption.

I ideally want to oc the 4770 but not crazily, but could run at stock as 1440p isn't so cpu dependant.

Thoughts?

you'll be fine I've run a 980ti & a 4770k with a crappy 480w psu still going strong after 7 years ;)
Haha overclocked?

Based on the above, I think I'm going to go for it and I think I'll have some headroom, the cpus in the reviews are way more hungry than my 4770k too, as above I think the 650 recommendations are for potato psus
