Hi all, im currently scratching my head here on a really random "problem" I reinstalled Windows recently and I loaded up BF4, all max at 2560x1440 on Paracel Storm, 120/144fps no problem whatsoever, then suddenly one day now its hovering around 70/80fps and sometimes hitting 100, I load up Crysis 3, same resolution all very high but no AA, and its hovering around 40/50, when as far as I remember it was hitting 80 before, its not thermal throttling and everything in my system is running as fine as can be as far as I can tell, is there something obvious im missing, am I going mad? :o
 
No a reboot doesnt fix it, it seems to randomly decide when it wants to cooperate, I have two in SLI so I used it as a single GPU setup with both GPU's and they're both reporting the same FPS which suggests its a system/OS issue rather than the cards itself, I scored 17000 on Firestrike in SLI when it should be pushing 18000+ based on other peoples scores

EDIT: I activated the backup BIOS on my board, now im posting a 20716 score which is expected, what could the beta bios have been doing to sometimes be fine for my PCI-E performance and then sometimes not? and if it happens again even on this BIOS im guessing the culprit is clearly the motherboard?
