980Ti Hydro Copper

Hi,

May seem a silly question, but to those that know. If I buy the hydro copper waterblock for the 980Ti, can I install whilst still using my preinstalled backplate on my 980ti SC+. I looked at the online manual on the page but it is the Titan X. It says you can for that, so I am assuming it applies for the 980Ti also.

Would just like some clarity for buying.

The Titan X is identical to the 980Ti in that both can use each other cooling solutions (same applies to waterblocks etc)

If it works for the TitanX, it will work for the 980Ti

Thanks for the reply man. I had it confirmed by EVGA anyway. I assumed correctly but wanted the clarification. Currently being shipped to my house in the UK so 6 weeks till I get my hands on it.

Blue back plate on the 980Ti, branded Titan:

Looks amazing, performance of the water block (mine is the full block clear) is incredible.

My 980Ti is faulty though, annoying
