Ok got almost everything for my build and plan on getting a 980ti with ek full cover block BUT with Pascal possibly appearing in April should I hold back on my purchase and wait for pascal to be released or just grab a 980ti and watercooling that bad boy???

980ti or wait for pascal???

Wow I've started a huge debate and exactly what I wanted lots of very valid opinions that will help me decide.
My train of thought was this, I previously had a 780ti and then maxwell was released I upgraded to the 980 which had the same performance of the 780ti and then some with amazing OC potential. Now if history follows suit the 1080 or X80 or whatever it's gonna be called should technically have the same performance as the 980ti and then some with OC potential as it's also a die shrink.
I'm not one to normally wait for a card but with GTC a week away and the potential launch of pascal a month away it's a tough call especially with games like the division and fallout 4 put that I'm eager to play.
Its also a good point that maxwell will drop in price when pascal is released meaning I could technically grab a pair of 980ti's for a nice price instead of opting for just the one (I think the wife would divorce me if I spent £1200 on graphics cards)
I've got an itchy wallet and a dining room full of pc components calling to me which doesn't help my decision lol
