I've noticed there are 2 model of this
529 and 599

The one at 539 has a base clock of 1000mhz what's the likely hood it will reach the speed of the OC version which is £70 more exspensive?

The cheaper version is clocked at the same speeds as the reference model - 1000 MHz core / 1075 MHz memory.

It's likely you'd get at least some overclock out of the cheaper version. Whether you'd get to the 1216/1316 MHz of the 'OC' version depends on the chips. The better binned chips would be used in the 'OC' version.

You'd almost certainly reach that OC, but you can never guarantee it. It's a very minute chance you wouldn't. Also looks like OCUK are using the OC picture on both versions, if you look at the box, which can be a bit misleading.

Would never buy oc model personally as waste of money when its so easy to do yourself.

My card "only" hits 1360 MHz on the core with no voltage increase and i would say that i have a bad clocking card compared to others.

It will go higher for sure but prefer not to up the volts just yet.

Luck of the draw tbh, the highest non LN2 clocked 980ti on the bench charts on here is a reference card.

the cards themself are identical tho apart from one is pre over clocked? They look the same?
