Very pleased with upgrade. I took the plunge and installed the card last night. Did a TimeSpy, 3DMark bench - my score has more than doubled! I can now play BF V silky smooth (no RTX on).

If I sell my 980Ti around market price, I am paying the same for the 2080 as I did when I bought the 980Ti, 3 years ago i.e. circa £500. This works out at £15/month for several hours of gaming relaxation. Money well spent :)
 
I did look at that, and it looks like a good deal (santa would have given the headphones to my son) - did I miss sarcasm in your response?!

Anyhow, thumbs up on the 2080. Very pleased
