980ti?

Hi there guys, im currently running an i5 2500k @4.5.
Could i get away with just updating to a 980TI, or would i have to replace my whole system?

Current graphics card is a GTX 580

They are unveiling it next month are they? well i suppose thats the decission then. would them lower frame rates be noticeable using a G-Sync monitor though?

Sorry robfosters, never noticed your replies there mate. Well i got a GTX 580 at the moment so i would be expecting a big difference to be honest. I only want it for gaming any how, why bench when you got the whole of the internet doing that for you!?

I think im going to wait. At the end of the day blowing 500+ on a card then a few weeks down the line a better one is released. I wouldn't be happy. If the card they show isn't better than a 980ti then i can always get it at that point
