980vs 1060 3gb?

Prices seem a little crazy at the moment, so the only thing I can really afford is a new 1060 3gb or a used 980, maybe if i get lucky on ebay a 980ti. Any thoughts?
 
The 980 is going to be a bit quicker, the 1060 3GB more power efficient. I'm running a 1060 3GB and am very happy with it, but I'm gaming at 'only' 1080p. 1440 and up, you'd want to consider something more powerful I would think. How much are used 6GB 1060 cards going for, is one of those an option?
 
Meh there's always gonna be a better deal around the corner. I'm happy with the performance increase for the money. I'll take a look at used 1060 6gbs though.

Im not bothered about power efficiency I'm not experiencing a power shortage. :p
