980x O/C

Hi all

first time overcloking for me and I need help on how to do it
My setup :
Gigabyte ud5a, 980x cpu, 1000watts power, 24gb of ram (Patriot Viper 3 "Venom Red" DDR3 PC3-17200C11 2133MHz Single Module).

So far everything run standard, I would like to go to 4/4.1 ghz on the cpu and I need to know how the cpu and memory can work together.
If anyone of you know or can help please reply to the thread.

whats the max multi of that chip? should be similar to the 920's apart from being able to use a much lower uncore frequency due to a better imc

If its the EE the multi is not locked, otherwise I think its 25 maybe 26 @133

The imc on them is very good mine booted into windows @2374 on the memory and was stable over 2300mhz.

I don't know a lot about overclocking them, on mine I just wind the multi up or do it the same as an i7 920 200 on the bclk and increase the multi and add vcore.
