Hey all,

When overclocking my CPU using just the multi, should I need to up any other voltages other than the CPU VID?

Oh, while Im at it, am I right in believing that these dont overclock that well using the FSB?

Cheers

Yeah, the multiplier range is fully unlocked as its the Black Edition. Im willing to play around with settings, as long as I understand what they do first. Dont want to fry anything! Currently at 2.8ghz (200*14 @ 1.35v 51c max load)

are u using stock cooler? if yes then get yourself a better cooler. always keep the temps below 61c.

64bit os's will limit the overclock alittle about 200 Mhz, so for example me personly i can run my 9850be at 3ghz (15*200 at 1.37v) in an 32bit but if i go in a 64bit os it'll need more voltage to run at 3ghz about 1.45v..
