99 q code not booting/display

Am getting the q code:99 everytime I try to boot up the pc.
mobo:ASUS R V E.

Any ideas??

Try pressing the memory safe/go button on the board.
What are your ram specs?

Bought dead cheap ram crucial 16gb 2133mhz.

Before booting try the go button to the left of pcie switch's

Pressed the small red button near mem ok" if thats what you were referring to.
Powers on but on the q code it displays b2.
?

hmm b2 is memory training failed, are you just using xmp in bios?

b2 means it is trying to read VGA bios but can't if towards the end of post which I spuspect this is. Not sure what VGA your currently running but try initially only one card in slot one.

99 Is often seen when mem training has passed but cant boot with those settings. Try one VGA one mem stick.

I have to be honest I bought that mobo new cpu and ram 2day but have had 3 titan blacks returned from evga , none get a signal on monitor.
Something tells me those 3 cards I rma'd are still faulty.
Will buy a new card and see.
