9GB installed but only 6GB showing

I did a bit of a dirty thing a while back and slapped in 3x2 GB sticks of DDR3 and 3 x 1GB of spare DDR3 all Corsair Dominator 1600mhz and achieved a *******ized 9GB of DDR3 on my rig in the sig.

Just noticed today however after 3-4 months its now only picking up 6GB, i've quickly checked the seating and its fine.

Any suggestions? As surely if the 3x 1GB sticks were dead it would be BSODing like hell and if 1 x2GB and 1 x 1GB were dead i would be pure BSOD all day long?

I have another spare 3x1GB of Corsair Dominator 1600Mhz spare to try a swap but thought i would query it here before i dig them out and mess about with it.

you need to test them by installing them in a working slot,test each stick one by one and each slot for tri channel one by one,it will boot up if the ram and slot are working

not enough imc voltage can cause you to lose memory aswell

oh i know how to test them... did not know about the voltage though
