a 306 with a sports button?

Now before I make a fool of myself, can you confirm this before I argue it with my ex.... that a 306 does NOT have a sports button?

Apparently last night they were

we wer jus drivin round in Bens nans car...tis wel gd!U been up2 much?x

To which I asked what it was and got the reply of

Its a 306 but its got some sport button that makes it rev lots more or something?Tis fun whatever it is lol x

I think this is all bull, she's not good with cars, its probably the fog light button, but I mean really - do they have a sports button?

Hmmm the only way i could see it having a sport button is if it was an auto, sometimes they have a sport and normal setting for the box.

What engine size would an X reg auto be? Whats even more hilarious is that she has a go at me for going out with my mate in his car when she's out with a newly passed driver. Who happens to be driving his NANS car! Does my head in. Cheers anyway

Yep, sounds like an auto.

They have a 'sport' or 'overdrive' button. It just means the box hold the revs longer in each gear.

I'd imagine they'd have an auto option on all the models.

Not according to parkers, 12s to 60 for the 1.6 and 14 for the 1.8 oddly..

Go in to the forum and register (free) then you will get access to the guide. It looks fairly simple to do for you (based on me reading your other posts it seems you are pretty handy with a lot of things!) let me know when the 406 has been transformed into a sports car

She was really impressed by the sports button, I should just take her out in my car, hold it at 2000rpm and then press my foglight sportz button

Well see what it does, is gives my turbo 50psi of boost and lets it go faster
