A app. that can read (sing) what is typed with background music (a file) added>

So, I love doing parody songs (Think Weird AL), but in no way do I have the nerves to sing. I am even not crazy about talking on phones. So, I know about audio tune, but I know it is masivly expensive. I just want a app that you can type in and it will read (sing) what you type, on top of a background audio file. Also, no computer robot voice would be good.

If you can't sing try using a vocoder. It makes you sound like T-pain which would probably add the comedy value.

Failing that, try typing

say 'hello'

in terminal and see what happens.

Sounds like you want Vocaloid software ... but again it isn't cheap and also not available on Linux (like audio tune)

No I am to nerves, I could prob. sing good with my voice.
