Well, thankfully that's the point of having betas..to find out what works and what doesn't. Hopefully they'll sort this..if it really is that much of an issue.

It can't be any worse than being killed by some moron standing/diving repeatedly.
 
Have the stats been reset?

Reformatted last night, went to BFHQ and I was private first class ( :mad: ) instead of my usual rank. I thought it was a glitch, so I loaded up the game again and it was exactly the same!

Tell me it isn't so...

at the bottom of the page is page numbers, click on the appropriate number for the appropriate page ;)

You need an EA account for the initial bits, then when it asks you for your GAMESPYID it means your BF2 id (assuming you've not done something funky via GameSpyID!).

I used the BT Click-n-buy alternate method - all worked fine.

Backed up the cache files for EA downloader before clicking 'install now', but all sorted :)

The levels look great, definitely worth the two pints of beer asking price! :D

Where is the EA Account cache folder held on XP folders ! ?
I will at some point up grade my Rig and will need to reformat my HD. :)

Is anyone else going to be playing Point of Existence? It has been mentioned before in this thread but it's being released today and it looks good.

I think it depends on how many posts per page you have selected in the options (I have 80 posts per page, and there isn't a page 275!)

I saw a couple of strange things the other day on BF2. The first was this :

Seems like the commander was somehow able to drop multiple vehicles (unless there were multiple commanders?)

The other one was during a connection problem, when an APC floated across the sky like a balloon. Rather strange!


 
The multi vehicle drop is an exploit. It's been around for a while.

And the floating vehicle thing happens to me all the time when i get that stupid connection dropout. I always seem to giggle at a tank calmly floating past me on its roof.
