Crap innit. I had to literally uninstall loads of stuff, move the pagefile off to d:.
The thing is, it doesnt actually use any space on c: when installing, the 3GB free space never actually changed!
 
i got an email from EA telling about a problem with the cd key encryption...not sure why as i only signed up for an account and never actually downloaded SF. Seems they have sent me what seems like some universal cd key to solve the problem :confused: . Trouble is i have the game now on preorder from an e-tailor...i prefer a hard copy tbh but if there is a universal cd key its gonna be a freebie to a lot of warez monkeys as i am sure i am not alone in recieving this email

well, ran partition magic. A few heartstopping minutes when i thought it had frozen, but all is well and i've managed to install the patch.

So is the new patch actually any good then? Any worthwhile enhancments?
 
some servers may not let you play if you havent patched, if you do patch now as i understand it you will need to re patch after you install sf.
 
Need some advice people.

I have an unlock comming very soon (Sargent), only about 150 away. Should I chose an unlock before I install the SF? I wonder if we will get an free unlock when we install SF like we did when one of the patches came out.

I can't believe I/ haven't got this yet as I played the demo so much but I've finally decided to take the plunge but is there a pack with SF aswell as I haven't seen one anywhere?
 
Hmm... Can't find SF anywhere on that site. I links me to CDwow, is that right? If so, I can't find it under the games section.

Edit: Never mind, found it through search.
