Why not just play for it? Its much more satisfying when you get it. I just got the pistol badge and I'm working on the Knife one now. Just need the bad guys to stay still long enough!

I dont work for anything that isnt part of the game, if I get a badge or medal its because Iam actually best at that aspect of the game. I did try sniper class out to see if I could get the badge and it was dam easy (the svd is great). One of the guns is impossible to use though I usually avoid that class like the plague. I have every unlock but that one

Working is maybe the wrong term, In so far as possible, If I can on certain maps, I am trying to kill with the knife. It just a game after all.

Foster k, was it you that killed me 5 times in a row on nite flight earlier with the svd. I was in an msn conversation and thought i had hit enter to stop me spawning.

Any of you using the medusa 5.1 headset with bf2? Got one for christman but sometimes it dosnt work at all and its not loud enough for other to hear. Any tips would be handy.

Absolutely! Found a great spot on the roof of the warehouse opposite - I love the grapple hook!

I was absolutely prawning anyone that dared go on that opposite roof with my F2000, so yeah

Hi everyone glad to see my thread is still popular ( not 5 star popular though

) but anyway im having a problem. Ive installed v1.12 update which is the latest update i think. But when i want to play a game of bf2 it wont let me saying its modified and please revert to the latest official bf2 version. Its been like this for over a week now.

Had the same prob mate. Complete uninstall and reinstall is the answer. Dont modify any of the files to get rid of the movies etc.

Not anymore, Jolt etc can now run ranked servers.

Thats not quite true u can change the file names from the bik format to the backup format eg intro.bik change to intro.backup which stops them from loading up at the begining and it will not say modified content ( well never said it for me).

Im using the medusa 5.1 and have no problems with it, what soundcard are you using, that may be the problem. Im using the audigy 2 zs and sometimes i have to put the sound back up to max in the CP.

Help!

I've started playing this again, i've patched it up and everything but i'm consistently getting lag, ping jumps and 'there is a problem with your connection' ( :rolleyes:

).

I don't get lag in any other games and i've usually got a good ping (i'm on 512k bb).

When this game isn't lagging it's excellent! It just makes it infuriating to play when you're forever getting killed because of lag, can anyone help? Thanks.
