A big screen to replace Eyefinity

The thread title says it all really. I've got an Eyefinity set up and I'm fed up of fiddling around trying to get it to work. I just want to boot up and play a game.

I hope a single monitor will be less hassle. But I want the immersion of a big and wide monitor. I play the Far Cry games, Guild Wars - nothing too advanced.

I'll be using a HTC Vive for the full 3D immersion in Eliteangerous, but I need a decent big/wide screen to back it up.

Any recommendations around the £400 mark - or ideally less?

I dropped eyefinity for the same reasons, went with the acer xr341ck, I much prefer the 21.9 for gaming and no faffing about

Would work well with your 290.

At £400 budget you are kind of in the middle, imo.

Next viable increase in size, whilst keeping pixel density / resolution, is 34"
