In the process of disassembling, cleaning and upgrading parts of my PC having not touched it for years and spotted ‘a bit’ of dust through the fans. I figured those fans needed to come off. It’s amazing this was cooling at all. Managed to hoover all of the dust out.

Have seen worse
You don't even have any spider webs in there lol

I use a long bristle paint brush
To remove it without doing a full disassemble
Just put it between the fan blades
And go round in a circle
Eventually I will disassemble and clean
But that helps delay it for a good while

One of the best things I bought for cleaning the PC was an Air Duster (about £50 at the time). Doesn't get used often but will clean a rad thoroughly even if you think a vacuum has done a good job there is still plenty of dust in the fins. Just remember to stop the fans rotating with a bit of tape or a stick or else they'll rotate past their design spec.

Not ideal :D

My PC is in a wood cabin with wood flooring, it makes a huge difference to the amount of dust that collects. Also, all my rad fans are intakes with case filters, so it's never really gathered much dust inside the PC even back when it was in the hosue.

My kids bought me a expensive duster blower for Xmas one year but my fan filters work so well I've never used it
