They do need to get a Mantle 3dmark or something going on, in fact if they got 3dmark and enabled 8way gpu's on it... lol, 3dmark benchers wouldn't touch Nvidia for a long time.

They always will though as Single Card and SLI are the most competitive benches and worth the most points. Especially single GPU card.
 
I only have one 7990 and it is a fantastic card. Had to seriously rethink my cooling and undervolt it too. Tomb Raider for example caused it to overheat and throttle even with Matt's bios!
