Hi all, I have been using Lightroom 4 for a while now and I upload all my good shots to Flickr. Been doing this and been quite happy with the results until I noticed whats shown below.

This is a screen shot of my desktop, on the left is a shot open in Firefox in the lightbox of Flickr and on the right is the original open in Lightroom.

The only export option I have is to sharpen for screen.

Any ideas? I prefer the finished image on Flickr but I'm a bit frustrated that its different to the original :bang:

Are you editing in Adobe RGB and then saving out into sRGB? Even if you're not perhaps Flickr converts it to sRGB.

That could be it, how would I check this, can't seem to find any settings in LR to change. I know my monitor is set to srgb... But im guessing that's fine, as the difference can be seen between LR and Flickr on the monitor, seems LR show the colours warmer than Flickr.

Under the file settings in the export dialog in Lightroom it shows which colour space is being used. I believe Flickr will convert it to sRGB, but I'm not sure to be honest. I always convert my stuff to web to sRGB anyway.

Ok cool, will have to check that tomorrow, so I'm guess I'm working with adobe rgb and it's then being converted by Flickr... Wich is changing the warmth of the shots.

Anyway my brain is fried haha thanks.
