im looking to replace my desktop pc with a laptop. ive been out of touch with pc hardware for a while so i dont really know what im looking for.
main use is going to be for photo editing, so lots of photoshop cs use. im also partial to some guild wars sessions and occasionaly battlefield 2. im not worried about running these at max quality but as long as they look and play ok im happy.
i guess i want 1gb of ram, dvd-rw, decent sized hd (ill probably buy an external hd too) and 15 or 17 inch screen.
the things i dont know about are the processor and graphics. what would be the best to go for? pentium m, centrino, sempron, turion? last time i bought a processor it was either athlon 64 or pentium! and all these different graphics cards? i dont know what is good or bad anymore.
im not sure about a budget because i dont know what i need. maybe 500-700ish, im prepared to be flexible with it but would prefer to keep it cheap.
