A bit stuffed...

Hi guys.

Well, I'm a bit stuffed. I'm still unfortunately waiting on my student loan to come through, and am running out of food... Any ideas to get some quick cash?

They may be able to give you a loan for living expenses which you pay back as and when your student finance actually comes through. At least they did at my uni anyway, when a few of my friends didn't get theirs on time 2 years ago.

My uni had an emergency loan system where you could get a few hundred quid in to cover you for what ever good reason (had the same problem). In theory I didn't have to pay it back till I graduated too but I payed the week my loan turned up to make me feel cool....

Some sort of student advice service in the uni/union should point you in the right direction

Yep uni's are usually really keep to keep its students alive but yeah graduate or till the end of the academic year (up to the uni) either way ages to get your loan and get an interest free overdraft sorted.

If it gets too bad for words ill come save you! (at uni at Birkbeck week day evenings)
