Anybody have this game? I'm really impressed. Terrific puzzler/platformer with a great art style.

Anyone play the original?

Yeah I had it a while ago, I never bothered playing all the way through but did enjoy what I did play of it.

I've noticed a distinct lack of discussion of Wii games in this forum. People only seem to discuss the Xbox 360 and PS3

I think a fair few people were disillusioned with the early lineup and either sold their Wii, or didn't buy one at all. It's a shame - I play my Wii more than the 360 or PS3 these days. Exclusives wise it has them both beat and there's some cracking looking games on the way. The lack of HD almost certainly played a part too.

Yeah, I own all 3 consoles, and the Wii is my favourite. It has more 'excellent' games overall - Galaxy 1 & 2, TP, Metroid Prime Trilogy, hopefully DKR. For me, the only truly stellar game on the PS3 was MGS4. There are good and fun games like Uncharted 2, and same with the Xbox, but nothing really "stunning".

World of Goo? It's excellent and well worth picking up if you haven't already played it on the PC (it just pips the PC version due to superior controls)

lol, the original Boy and his Blob...

I spent many a frustrated day on that game back in the days of the NES.

The music was ace though.
Might have to give the new one a look.

Edit: GT Review looks quite good actually, looks nowhere near as harsh as the original but could be fun.

Certainly sounds that way right at the start, then it goes off on a crazy tangent and forces you into a land of misery and whistling...
