Interesting look at how games have improved over the decades with different technologies.

Such fond memories, I wish games of today would excite me as much as back then. I dont buy into this "its an age thing", movies and games were so much better back in the days. I still have more enjoyment watching 80s movies today, and also still play my Amiga 1200 in my games room.

There was equally if not more ****e out in the 80s in all media than there is now.

Yes some great stuff but so much bad.

I always attribute the "was better back in the day" to nostalgia.....thinking back to when you were younger (possibly had a better imagination) and the fond memories they bring back....media (films/games) these days are equally good.....allthough many good series/films/games have been butchered with poor sequels, but there is plenty of quality being made these days.
