just wondering if i could get some graphics card suggestions to compliment this set up

i've been out of the scene for a while now but my computer recently broke so i'm taking this opportunity to upgrade... i'm not looking for best of the best card as i'm not upgrading for a particular game or anything so cant justify the money. i think i'm looking around 150 quid or so though i can be persuaded up to see significant increase. any ideas? 8800GT seems a good starting point? or whats the ATI equivalent these days?

cheers :)

hmm, ok i've decided to get a E6750, 2 Gb ram blah blah so thats all sweet

8800GT availability is getting to me though. i've been offered a 8800GTS 640mb? (the old one i believe) for 130 quid though. good deal? think i might go for it, save the 30 quid and have it tomorrow... just want some confirmation this is a good deal? coming from a 7600GS so i'm thinking anything of the 8800 ilk is going to be a treat for the senses

cheers

is it worth the 60 excess on top of the GTS i've been offered?

another problem i'd have is that there is no one in my house during the day so i'd have to either get it sent at a weekend or can you pick stuff up from city link depots? bit off topic i know but it is my topic :p
