is there any cases out there that are like the dell 9150 case,
were the duct for the fan is a direct feed from outside to a tuniq style cpu cooler.
ive always wanted to build in to a del case like this as my dad has the dimension 9150,
and the cpu stay very cool even when gaming. as then i thought of making a piece of
ducting to just fly the cpu hot air right out the back using a push pull config

Shouldn't be too hard to rig something up to duct any CPU cooler from a cool air source. Scythe bay to 120mm tube taped to CPU cooler fan, then direct out the back via another short duct. Thought about it before when wanting a more passive heatsink operation.

BTX and ATX are not compatible (I will be proved wrong, but I think there may be a special case which can take both).

BTX was intended to replace ATX as it was a superior thermal design, but it failed due to no compatibility with existing systems. Only Dell used it, IIRC they have moved back to ATX.

Ooh shame that's not 120mm. Not sure why but there are loads of 80mm duct solutions but hardly any 120mm ones, apart from the Thermalright but it looks inflexible.

The cover from a 100 DVD-R tube, or maybe two taped together. They are a little more than 120mm but are close enough. There's also a cooker hood 120mm fan aluminium flexible duct on the Bay too.

Not sure what effect this has on cooling but air that's a few degrees cooler will cool a heatsink just that little bit better, but probably not as much as you would like though.
